viagogo

If you have in the past received a payment reminder with reference to Viagogo this is due to the following reason:

Viagogo is an online ticket exchange that securely allows members to buy or sell tickets for live events.

Tickets are purchased at the Viagogo online ticket exchange from a private seller who assigns the price which you agreed to. The price depends on supply and demand and therefore varies constantly. In accordance with the agreement Viagogo will have paid the listed price directly to the seller. The agreed listed price including the transaction fee has not been met by you through the agreed payment method.

Despite a payment reminder through Viagogo you are behind with your payment. Therefore advaro services was appointed to recover receivables.
A legitimate reason to refuse payment is only given in the case that you have not received the tickets. It is up to the buyer to prove that the delivery of tickets has not been successful.

In this case, Viagogo has to be notified immediately to make a delivery at a later date or for you to be released from your payment obligation. There is no legitimate reason to withhold payment if:

– You could have purchased the ticket elsewhere at a cheaper price,
– the event is cancelled or re-scheduled,
– You refuse the tickets for other reasons (a cancellation is according to § 312g Abs. 2 Ziffer 9 BGB impossible)
– The price at the ticketing exchange at Viagogo deviates from the price specified on the ticket.

In the latter case the buyer shall be at liberty to resell the tickets at the ticketing exchange.

Here is an extract of the terms and conditions at Viagogo:
6.8 All Sales are Final. All sales and bids are final. No refunds, cancellations or exchanges will be issued for date or time changes, partial performances, or lost tickets.
